#NYFW - Snowman New York Fashion Show

On Wednesday September 10th 2014 I attended the showcase for the Snowman New York Fall 2014 "42" and Spring 2015 "Action" collections. I thought it was going to be your run of the mill runway show in a bar, hotel or lounge but instead it was more of an intimate exhibition in a Korea Town loft space for buyers and press.

Claudia aka Jewelz has done it again with her Summer 2014 Trunk Show. I was the photographer for the night and as usual she had a great turn out full of supportive friends and clients. This time it was held at The Hills Lounge at 4703 Church Ave Brooklyn, NY.

What I Wore: Caribbean Blogger Meetup Summer 2014

For this meetup at Central Park I wanted to be neutral and since I have an obsession for oxfords right now I just HAD to wear these Franco Sarto ones. I'm not sure when my neutral/oxford craze is going to be over but I'm gonna ride this one till the wheels fall off. I'm also feeling button downs. I had to carry two bags because I took two sets of fabric for me and one extra person to sit on, ten bottles of chubby soda, my cosmetics purse, camera, tripod, book, etc.

Recap: Aldo A-List Party with Roni Simpson

Last Friday night I kicked off the Easter weekend at Roni Simpson's Aldo A-List Party at the 5th Avenue Aldo in NYC. It was a networking/shopping event where she was getting to know people and encouraging us to mingle with each other, while Aldo offered 15% off all purchases. I'd say it was pretty chill with a great turn out and energy plus awesome DJs playing everything from Dancehall/Reggae music from like 10 years ago or more to
current Pop/Hip Hop.

I got an invite from a friend and it was my first time hearing about Roni of TheLatestReports.com. I'm glad I met her. She was real down to earth, sweet and friendly. Originally a Cali native, she moved to NYC a year ago and I'd say she's doing a great job of fitting in. You know, throwing this sweet networking party and all. She was also SERVING in her black sequin jumper, red lips and fabulous hair!
