Fashion, House of Moruka Handbags, Natural Hair, Lifestyle, Events: Full Figured Fashion Week 2013

Last week I went to Full Figured Fashion Week and lemme tell you, it was awesome!! An entire week dedicated to the full figured and fabulous and this skinny girl enjoyed herself thoroughly the 3 days she participated. I was given the opportunity to attend when FashPlus.com, a clothing company that provides plus sized clothing by Body Type contacted me about being their brand ambassador for these events. I was so honoured that a company had so much faith in me and I'm forever grateful to be given the chance at my first brand brand ambassador role as a blogger. Of course I did a totally awesome job.

My first stop was the Thursday night Bloomingdale's Fashion Show where there were looks from Vince Camuto, Ralph Lauren, Splendid, Michael Kors, and others. I met some of the coolest plus size bloggers, some of whom I follow. They included The Curvy Socialite, Wait Until The Sunset, and Rez to the City. They were all so gracious and awesome even though I acted like a teeny tiny bit of a groupie. *_*

The show started fashionably late but that gave people more time to mix and mingle. Gwen Devoe hosted the show along with a panel of plus size fashion experts who commented on the different looks giving style tips. In my opinion the show did not disappoint even though it started 1.5 hours late.
