The split ender isn't perfect, it does miss some spots but my ends look a lot better and I would have butchered my hair of I had used scissors to trim. I'd be here crying bout how I scalped myself. Some of my ends do still feel slightly rough but I think it may be from single strand knots and some splits are still there since the split ender can miss some spots. So I guess it's a not-so-fresh start? Additionally, you're actually not supposed to use any product at all in your hair with the split ender because that could dull the blades faster but after February's fiasco I wasn't taking chances so I loaded up on the IC Fantasia. So yea, don't follow what I did as gospel, I have to buy new blades sooner doing it this way. I'm actually due for a fresh set. So since this trim wasn't perfect my ends are a lot better then before.

So I'm just above armpit now. I'm going to dust regularly because since my hair is natural now I can't see the split ends as easily as when I relaxed and I don't plan on straightening often, maybe 2 or 3 times a year? I don't know I'll work on that later. I have to work on roller setting.
I wore my hair like the above from last Thursday to Monday then cornrowed for my protective style.

I parted in half and put two cornrows side to side.
